(SHOW IS OVER)
Gen Con is coming to Gamezenter

While Gen Con Indy is running in Indianapolis, the Pop-Up Gen Con program brings the excitement of discovering brand new games to local retail stores throughout the country.

Gamezenter is proud to be one of those stores. With our generous gaming space, available food and drink, and established gamer community, we’re perfectly situated to bring the Gen Con experience to Roseville — and with your help, we can make it even better.

A Gamezenter Gen Con

Our Pop-Up Gen Con (September 17-18) is going to feel like an actual convention experience.

When attendees walk into our spacious event room, they will find it bustling with convention-style activity:

  • Official Gen Con game demos
  • Card and Miniatures Game tournaments
  • Miniatures paint-and-take events
  • Special Guests
  • Exclusive game pre-releases (Gen Con releases found only here and Indy)
  • Demos of new, upcoming, or established games

This last item is where you come in.

It’s Your Gen Con Too

For a publisher, Gen Con is a fantastic opportunity to get your games in front of a receptive gamer audience. For example, you can…

  • showcase upcoming games,
  • run demos for existing games,
  • playtest new game designs, or even
  • run tournaments for your established games.

Choose Your Level

When you participate in Gamezenter’s Pop-Up Gen Con, you can commit to doing as much or as little as you’d like.

Want to use a single table for a couple hours to demo your new game? That’s fine.

Want to set up a 10×10 booth for both days, and use it to run a constant stream of demos and tournaments, with prizes for winners and participants? That’s fine too. Just let us know what you need. And unless you want to do something truly extravagant (perhaps involving animals or a marching band) there is no cost to you, regardless of your level of participation.

While publishers won’t be allowed to sell directly, we’ll gladly work with you to make sure we have sufficient stock on hand of the games you’re promoting.

If this sounds interesting to you, and we haven’t already been in touch, drop us a line at events@gamezenter.com, and let’s chat about how we can help you have a successful Pop-Up Gen Con.
