We are thrilled to announce that Gamezenter will be hosting Pop-Up Gen Con 2021 on Friday, September 17 and Saturday, September 18.

What’s a Pop-Up Gen Con?

For those who aren’t in the know, Gen Con is the massive annual gaming convention that brings together thousands of tabletop gamers to discover new games, play old favorites, and celebrate the joy of gaming. Gen Con is held in Indianapolis, and will be happening this year in September.

For those who can’t make it to Indianapolis, Pop-Up Gen Con is a way to bring Gen Con to you. Gather with your local gaming community and try out hot new games before anyone else, without traveling any further than your friendly local Gamezenter.

Discover New Games

Part of the fun of Gen Con is playing new games that have either just been released, or haven’t even come out yet. 

With Pop-Up Gen Con, we’re bringing that fun home with a bunch of hot new games to try out from publishers such as:

To help enhance the Gen Con feel, we’ll be hosting a number of tournaments, game demos, and other special events. We’re still in the process of nailing down what exactly that entails, but we’ll keep you updated as details get hammered out.

Make it Gen Con Official

Part of what makes a Pop-up Gen Con event so special is that is an official part of Gen Con.

While we may be hundreds of miles from Indianapolis, we’re sharing in the same celebration of gaming that’s happening at the same time. Starting June 27, you can sign up at gencon.com to  become an official participant. For $5, you get an official badge, lanyard, a special surprise, and access to the official Gen Con events.
